Difference in age

What is an acceptable difference in age between a guy and a girl. I'm 29 and I fancy a girl who's 20. I'm fine with the age gap but I'm afraid what others will make of it. I don't want to be seen as a pervert or worse. I'd like to hear what you think.

I have heard a rough rule of thumb about age difference: half your age plus 7 years. Obviously not a hard and fast rule, but sort of works. The consenting adults rule works better.

Acceptable? to whom? Whatever the attraction is, enjoy it. When I was a teen, I had sex with a couple in their forties. I went through a period in my early thirties when I was very popular and often had several women interested at any one time - no duplicity involved.
