Hey everyone,

Some of you may remember me.. I posted a lil while ago and then suddenly dropped of the face of the earth (PC died) but I am back now :D:D and I was thinking alot while my PC was dead..

Some people will have seen my pics and video (had to take the video down but here are the pics, http://www.masturbationpage.com/forum/v ... highlight= )...

Now I am thinking about starting up my own little very amateur porn site, it would have a whole bunch of pics and vids (of me and maybe friends) and it would be completely free.. Just wondering if people think I should bother...

Well to answer all of your questions Niagra...

1. Why? Well I have always wanted to start up my own little amateur porn site (regardless of if I were making profit or not).. Only problem is I can't find any willing girls who will jump in front of a camera and have a lil solo fun (not even when I offered a hefty cash prize) and I had some insane feedback when I posted a vid of myself a while back (had the space I was hosting it on run out of its 20 gig of bandwidth in about 2 days and the vid was only 20 mb or so) and so I figure if I can't find any willing girls ... and people seem to like my vid ... I could star on the site...

2. I have the hardware and I certainly have the knowledge to do it all (I'm kinda a nerd).

3. I have been making websites for close to 5 years so I definitely have the website skills.

4. Copyright Knowledge is the only part that I am lacking in... when I sit and have a small read on it I can't see how I would be in anyway breaking any copyright laws considering the footage that I would be providing would not be copyrighted (as it would be me in the film, I would have recorded it and I would have no intentions of selling it to make profit).

I'm guessing a lot of guys dream of running a porn site lol. As far as copyright issues, if it's your own creation, then it's yours to do as you please. If you accept videos from other people (or film others people), depending on your agreement with them, it's either yours or you can have the right to distribute it.

You might want to just start out with a blog dedicated to amateur porn. It's cheap and easy. I have one at http://www.orgasmanic.com... but I didn't have the time or commitment to keep it updated. And this is instant death to any blog or web site.

FYI, godaddy.com has hosting for $4.95/mo that has 5GB of space and 500GB of monthly bandwidth.

Thanks for the usefull info ilike but I already have hosting with 2 dif places and have already checked and both of them allow adult content so I am already set for hosting (didn't get the hosting for the porn site I got it for a variety of other sites that I run but luckily enough they allow adult content).

My opinion is that there are already plenty of amateur porn sites out there. Many of them are free. Making another amateur porn site means we all have to look harder to find good porn. I think a few high-quality sites with lots of pictures is better than a lot of sites with few pictures.

I think you and your friends should post your photos on one of the existing free amateur sites and then don't forget to post the link here. One of my favorite sites is http://voyeurweb.com/ They have 1000's of pictures and a great community. You have to pay to look at the really dirty pictures, but not much.

There's alot of Porn on the web now. And more open each day with only a couple really worth the money. It takes alot of money to get a site up and running. And there is a literal ton of legal stuff to do. Like the papers stating each model is 18 and copyright issues. There is ENOUGH Porn on the net. I know that saying that seems like Sac-Relig.

So you sound like you know what your doing... I might be interested in some help from you as well. I am not real excited about porn and the reason I'm not is because I think it teaches young adults to act in only a physical way regarding sex.
