you'll have to wait for the girls from the UK to reply, but I'm pretty certain that the term itself is unisex and just refers to masturbation, not specifically to a guy stroking off.

I have seen and heard of wanking as unisex- especially in chat room and IM, Her jacking or jilling are used a lot. :lol:

Given that there is a UK event called "Wank Week", which celebrates ALL masturbators in some way, which, I guess, does not discriminate on gender...So perhaps the term can be used. I wouldn;t use it, but it could work.

Wanking can mean masturbating by either sex. Some of my old girlfriends and my wife always used the word which has been common for at least a century here in the U.K.
