The Downside of Porn

Postby Doma » Mon Sep 03, 2007 9:37 pm

Thats right what the topic says. We all love porn, we all use it to get off, regularly or rarely. It provides a visual interpretation of our sexual fantasies, however there is one massive downside of porn.

Porn industries like to convey the idealogy that bigger is always better. This is a crime of the porn industry, because they are making people who have smaller penises feel self-conscious, insecure among many other things. Same goes for girls as well; girls with big tits are perceived to better at sex than girls with smaller tits. The fact is these are both sexual myths. First of all, during vaginal intercourse, a woman feels pleasure on her clitoris or her G-spot so the size of a dick doesn't matter. On the contrary guys with bigger dicks have their job cut out for them because they have to be really skilled and know how to use it. Another sexual myth is that women with big tits are more sexual than women with smaller tits. NOT!!

I urge any of you who feel insecure about their sizes, to not be brought down. Yes a woman with large breasts is visually appealing and a guy with a large cock is also attractive-but thats it really-appearance and nothing else.

PS. 80% of women don't care about how large a guy is (as long as it is not freakishly small lol)

Oh man! Where do I begin? To put it bluntly I must say that I, for one, think your assumptions about genital size versus sexual performance and female anatomy leave a great deal to be desired.

1st. All featured performers in legitimate and XXX movies have the looks and equipment seldom encountered amdist all of us in the vast unwashed masses, so to speak. Who would pay to see flicks with average looking guys and girls that have average boobs and cocks anyway?

2nd. To say that a guy with a larger than average cock has to work harder to be able to perform satisfactorily is utter nonsense. (obviously spoken by someone without that particular alleged handicap)
People with big boobs or cocks just take a little longer to take off or put on their clothes then the rest of us do.

3rd. You'd be hard put to find the "G Spot" located on any anatomical diagram of a human female. Some women can experience orgasm from stimulation in an area loosely described by that term but many cannot. I've know women who orgasm from plain old in and out action of a cock, finger, tongue or other suitable substitute with no contact with the clitorus at all.

4th. Simply stated. When you try to generalize about human actions, feelings, performance and equipment your making a big mistake. :?

I agree and disagree with some of the comments on here

First of all milkysalty, I'm not insecure about myself, there are times when I wish I had a bigger cock, but I am completely OK with my size.

and Savannah

1st: that is exactly my point--Appearance!!
2nd: Its true though if you have a bigger cock you have to be able to use it well and not get carried away by the excitement and fuck like an animal.
3rd: Even so it has nothing to do with the size. You only need 3 inches to go in and out of a woman.

PS. try to be nicer when making comments, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hurt by you guys belittling me.

At the end of the day, you may disagree with the details I had, but the theme of the topic is that "size doesn't matter" and porn industries play a big part in instilling the feeling that it does. I'm just telling people who are insecure about their sizes (that includes many people) to not be disheartened. So they can all enjoy their sex lives to its fullest.

I think the real downside to porn is not the size of dicks or boobs but the fact they dont show a woman cum or the fact that the scenes are shortened somehow. If you notice some scenes go straight to fucking but the girl never cums or they are getting off and the girl still never cums.Or even the fucking goes on but then it switches scenes or they spend more time with the mood setting than the real fucking. it just seems like you dont aways get what you pay for because the first scenes are decent then they though some stuff in at the end to fill up time. You cant really get off to girls or a scene that just in there and its not full length. Yes it fanaties but its not like a webcam with a real girl doing it with you. the actresses on their are paid so its kinda fake. nice to look at and get off to but fake. its like they are doing it for the camera and its set up scenes instead of real girls getting into freaky and horny in their natural state so thats a downside. its looks too setup even though your seeing a fantasy.

I would. And I do. My favorite porn actresses do not have big breasts. While I did go through a stage where I thought bigger was better, I matured. I like real people and "average" is just fie with me as long the men or women in the films do have nice facial features. I don't mean raving beauties -- but nice looking. After that, I find the average cock size is more interesting to me. Boob size is irrelevant if it isn't the type of nipple I like. I find the direction taken in the porn industry in the past several years a bit disturbing. "Extreme" sex is not of interest to me. The pro's are always nude -- but not always naked. Being naked is partly a state of mind and when it's taken for granted that they believe themselves to have no flaws, their humanity suffers and so dose the porn.

2nd. To say that a guy with a larger than average cock has to work harder to be able to perform satisfactorily is utter nonsense. (obviously spoken by someone without that particular alleged handicap)

uh...the sexiest organ of the body is still the brain. I do think the "average" penis or most any other penis is not going to be able to fully stimulate the G-spot. It's in a place that's hard to hit with a penis and you have to hit the G-spot pretty hard. Or my late wife was lying. I stimulated my late wife to orgasm every time we had sex and I used the G-spot and all the rest, but she said the G-spot gave her orgasm an added dimension that she didn't get any other way. The G-spot was a big help and I had to massage it harder than any other vaginal structure on a woman. And it paid off. Fingers can be very handy -- girls and boys. Otherwise, G-spot vibrators wouldn't look so funny. Who has a dick with a 45º angle on the last 2 inches?

I find it hard to believe there is woman out there who does not benefit by clitoral stimulation. If anything, some women say it's overly sensitive and needs a more delicate touch. I think you are partly right, "different strokes...etc." But the G-spot always worked for my wife, it just took a bit on he learning curve to actually find it and know how to stimulate it. I suppose I managed to find a better diagram, then found it in reality.

4th. Simply stated. When you try to generalize about human actions, feelings, performance and equipment your making a big mistake. :?

I don't think the original post over generalized. Some women become as visually stimulated as most men. But, visual stimulation doesn't always mean bigger size. It can include color, texture, and frankly -- I find the overly perfected image the porn industry pushes to be intimidating. It reduces everyone to a single standard. It does not promote individuality, and the uniqueness in appearance the average good looks with a flaw can be endearing. Of course, there is a bigger "amateur" market than ever - why? Picture perfect does not equal perfectly alluring.
