For The Women: Stills Or Movies?

I enjoy this forum but I have to admit I am using it for survey information. I'm not writing a dissertation or anything on the results. Just curious with some questions that have lingered in me. Sometimes I know a similar question may have already been asked, but I want to trim it down, (no pun intended).

For instance, I am under the general impression that men use erotica more than women, but the women here may be an exception. Again, a broad idea so I am trying to narrow it down. I know this is related to the "What kind of material?" question - referring to viewing material -- heh, not satin, nylon, latex etc. I'll get to that later.

Here's my question for the women that are using erotica. I'll do a separate poll on literature.

Do you prefer stills to movies, or movies over stills? If you have a preference - why?

When we are not at it for real, I prefer movies. My husband prefers stills, says that he can "zero in" on his favourite bits better!

Thanks, even one reply is helping. This was the same position of my late wife. (Of blessed memory). We enjoyed erotica together, but she had a strong preference for movies, and I wondered if it was strictly personal or if there was another issue. I tend to prefer stills also. Something about catching a certain moment in time, a certain angle and having it there to enjoy. Sometimes, still involve an issue with "posing" that I am not certain women identify with in every case. Kinda still curious about it. In a movie there is less of a "look at me" issue, less of what women my perceive as narcissism but it's just a guess. Maybe my curiosity seems prurient - but I couldn't think of a better place to put it than here.

I also prefer movies, mainly because it's more of a turn on to hear all the sounds that are being made.
