Posing as opposite sex on chat?

Was wondering if anyone out there goes on chats and poses as the opposite sex? A friend told me that he had been chatting with someone who posed as a woman on the chat, and then after watching my friend on his webcam, this other person admitted that he was a man, and that he got off and masturbated chatting with and watching my friend. Has anyone had this happen to them? Has anyone done this? What are your thoughts about this practice? I am interested in hearing your feedback.

As for me; I have always been honest with my age, sex and sexual preferences. Perhaps too honest.

I guess we all use the internet for different reasons. Forums like this give me the opportuntity to explore and understand myself, as well as understand and accept people that are perhaps different than me.

Not judging anyone else, but I don't understand why anyone would have the need to misrepresent or manipulate others in a forum like this. However, it appears to happen often.

I agree with Alan...I too can be a bit too honest sometimes, I would never dream of pretending to be something I'm not. And its very frustrating and upsetting that people are out there posing as the opposite sex, I'm sure even if they were honest they wouldn't have trouble finding someone to indulge them.

That is one of the things that has always attracted me to this forum - even behind the anonymity of a web name, honesty seems to be at the front of why we come here. Things we wouldn't normally discuss in "polite company" are fair game here, and allow us to explore our desires, fantasies, experiences, etc.
