Actually, it's due to the Amino Acids. Lysine and Arginine both increase the volume, especially when taken with a Zinc suplement.
A few years back, my wife and I were having trouble getting pregnant. I had to go to the clinic to give the dreaded sample. I also have changed my diet around to eat more whole grains, nuts, fruits and vegetables, and less processed foods and red meat.
Please note: anyone who is thinking of trying anything such as this should discuss it with their physician before beginning. These supplements can react to some prescription medications, and can have side effects if taken in excess. There are a few commercial preperations of things designed to increase your load, but I chose to stay away from them. They contain the Zinc and Amino Acids, as well as many other herbals and botanicals...but they all have listed under the ingredients: "Other ingredients" or something similar. I just don't trust not knowing what I am taking.
