depends on how short you trim it. if its really short then just shave it all off. or try it if you haven't done so before..it'll grow back. I trim my pubes and sometimes shave it all off if I am going to on a vacation to a nude beach. But if you go to a gym or anyplace public people will notice because not too many guys without pubic hair in this country.
