Flushing toilet paper

After a session I usually cum onto toilet paper then flush it. Quite often it floats and doesn't flush on first attempt. I sometimes try leaving it for a but so it soaks up water and becomes heavier but this doesn't work too well.

Does anyone else have trouble flushing away the evidence, has anyone got any tips for the best way to flush it first time?

I usually cum in a pair of my GFs knickers.
Even though we are apart at present, (Im in the UK, shes in the US), every so often she sends me some of her used knickers and thongs for me to wank into!
I use them whenever I want to and wash them out then send them back to her
