Actually, before the flesh light came about, I used to use a t-shirt, latex glove, rubber bands, and lube if you don't enjoy using your spit.
I take the t-shirt, fold it half vertically, so you get a long rectangle. Place a latex glove (preferably powderless or you'll have to wash the power out before you use.) at the end of one side of the shirt, it doesn't matter which side. Begin to roll the shirt up like a sleeping bag starting with the glove, so the glove is in the middle. Then once you've wrapped up the shirt with the glove, take two rubber bands and place it around the shirt so that the shirt does not become undone while you are jerking off. Then after you've wrapped the two rubber bands around the shirt pull the opening of the glove out and wrap the opening of the glove around the shirt exposing an opening. Then add lube or what ever you like and jerk away! Tighten the shirt as you roll to your liking and this will get you as close to a fleshlight as possible.
