I've noticed several pics of guys (sorry gals, this would be tough for you) with ball bands in place but don't see any chatter on the subject. I practice it often as my avatar will demonstrate, and generally use elastic bands. I just made a rigid plastic ring and am trying that for the first time today. It is more comfortable than the elastics and I think I could wear it much longer.

I use a simple boot lace, cinched up, once round the whole lot. Now that I can't get a hard on, it only helps minimally, but with some porno stimulated wrist work and then a steaming hot shower spray directly on my knob and balls, I can get a reasonable blood swelling.
