How Apple's attitudes and continued corporate persona changes society is another matter. Already millions are departing from Apple entirely, annoyed and irritated that Apple are becoming increasingly dictatorial and corporate.
They had an image of "cool" that they are now quickly loosing by restricting freedom in apps, allowing concessions for big business and now aggressively forcing advertising down the throats of those who use their products.

Unless they back-track on all of this in the next two years, they are doomed to fail and be replaced by another tech innovator who rigidly sticks to the rules of being a "cool" company.

Apple customers don't like the corporate on the whole. They don't appreciate big business unless it is different and original and has some moral authority. Apple are quickly loosing that.
They're now marketing to suits, instead of "cool" techies. But their products don't suit.
