Hey all!
Wanted to share the concept with you of orgasm timing, which potentially also entails the idea of a "dry orgasm." I've been masturbating for about 7 years and having orgasms for at least 5, and in that time I've taught myself a lot about having an orgasm and enjoying it to the fullest. There's also a lot I've read up on to try to enhance my experience, but there's one thing I've never really seen discussed and that is the idea of controlling your orgasm based on performing certain actions at certain times. It's not something that comes easy (no pun intended), but certainly is worth it I feel in having the best orgasm possible.
Masturbation itself and the buildup to the orgasm are left totally up to the man in charge - I have found that method, while some are more pleasurable than others, is irrelevant in controlling the orgasm itself and the sensations associated with it. I tend to jack off pretty normally to porn - usually I like to have pants off as I feel my erection is much stronger this way, but I'm sure you all will have your own preferences. The difference comes about 5-10 seconds before the point of no return when you have to determine what it is you want to achieve, which is where the idea of a dry orgasm comes into play.
I've been unsure of what to call it - a second orgasm might be acceptable but not 100% correct as it is does not always follow the first orgasm. As a result I've chosen the term "dry orgasm" as there is considerably less cum involved. I'm not sure what about it makes it so powerful - perhaps just the fact that it's not forcing any fluid out. In any case this dry orgasm is much more powerful than a normal one, regardless of semen amounts, and is much more pleasurable - in my case, always toe curling (and then some). The only ways I have been able to achieve this are by persistence in masturbating through a first orgasm for a few more minutes straight into a second one (against the will of the drop in hormones), or in fact by timing the orgasm at the end of my masturbation session so as to produce a dry orgasm. Don't expect yourself to get this on the first try, it takes a lot of practice and figuring out what it is your own body likes and how it responds to how you treat it.
In any case, I should share my experiences. I came upon this one night, as I recall, attempting to edge. I was feeling very horny and I was having difficulty hanging right at the point of no return, and on one go just went that little bit to far. I held it there, letting a few spurts of cum out, and then waited a few seconds hoping I hadn't "lost it", so instead I persisted in masturbating. I made a good choice, clearly, as in about 5-10 seconds I had felt the same buildup to orgasm but the release was so far beyond that of the first one or indeed any other orgasm I'd had to that point. That of course led to later experimentation and now I feel I know enough about it to share it with you and to stimulate discussion in this very topic.
Things happen quickly in an orgasm, as you all know. From the point it starts to build to the time the orgasm is over is maybe 20-30 seconds if you're not edging or anything, so you don't have a lot of time to get it right. In my experience I am more than happy to slow it down during the buildup, really letting the tension grow before allowing myself to inch closer to the point of no return. There is a time just before the point of no return, perhaps no more than a second or so, where if you were to let go of your penis the residual stimulation will send you over the edge and past that point, and your orgasm will commence anyway. I've found that going fully hands free may not be the best option as sometimes you can lose the opportunity for the dry orgasm if you've not got your timing absolutely right. In my most recent orgasm, I instead kept a moderate grip on the penis with my hand, perhaps a tiny, tiny movement, just to encourage a few good spurts of cum (maybe 3 or 4). At that point you feel as though the proper orgasm has begun and is in a well developed stage, but perhaps feels rather lame and unimpressive. As soon as you start to feel as though you've wasted the orgasm, and that it was well short of your expectations, I go at it straight again and suddenly start to feel it build up again. Another few seconds and the contractions start again, but this time almost entirely without cum. The orgasm is perhaps 50-100% more intense than a normal orgasm, and miles above the first orgasm you just sacrificed to get to this point.
As I've said, things happen awfully quickly and it takes a lot of practice to get it right. It (as with masturbation in general) is based largely on feel and personal preference. I don't tout this as a true double orgasm, as you can't wait so long that the first orgasm runs to completion but you do get two true buildups and two sets of contractions. It also extends the orgasm to perhaps 45-50 seconds from first buildup to the end of the dry orgasm.
Interestingly, as mentioned above, I do get the same sensation when masturbating for the second time after a first proper orgasm - usually doing so within 45-60 minutes will produce this result. As always, experimentation and comments are welcome. If anyone else has any pointers or ideas regarding controlling the timing of the orgasm, please feel free to post - I am always looking to have more fun with my o's!
Happy wanking!
