For those of you having trouble with the banana being too small or not strong enough, I have a solution. I ran into the same problem when I first tried this technique years ago. I'm like "brocko," way too big for any normal banana. Bananas pretty much max out at a certain circumference and only grow longer. Bananas from the Canary Islands are a little fatter but really short, so that's also not an option. What you're looking for is a Plantain. For those of you not familiar with this fruit, it looks like a giant green banana; you could also call it a banana on steroids.
