I think that's true Bill. As much as it turns me on to think about it, when I'm away from here and not horny as hell I have serious second thoughts about it. I think I would be much more comfortable doing it with someone I know but I really wouldn't know how to breach the subject with a friend without suffering extreme embarassment, ostrasizing and so on.

That's why we cruise the net, we can be whoever we want without fear of embarassment. When you take something like masturbation and bring up the subject with one of your friends, rejection could be disastrous. Here in "net land" we find people that share our likes and try to meet up with them since we know they have the same interests........ Sometimes anyway.......

Very true and I'm sure that a very high percentage of net people are just everyday nice, albeit very horny, people just looking to get off. What concerns me is whether the person would be attractive enough, whether physical, personality, hygeine, etc., that I'd want to get off with them. Not to mention the fear of a Buffalo Bill scenario like someone mentioned in another thread. The thought is quite exciting however and maybe I'll fulfill it someday.
