Well, I'm not sure what the problem was. Perhaps it could be because I wasn't imaginative enough, or it could be that certain people aren't aroused by it. It just didn't get me at all.

However, it could be my contempt for phone conversations. I never liked it, and it always seemed...artificial. It's as if I can only settle for the real thing. I need visibility and feeling; not just sound alone.

I think I feel the same, generally I feel the same way about phones - I hate the phone calls so this makes phone sex almost a concept from hell for me. The best thing about phone sex are all the pictures in the ads of the girls you never talk too!

On the other hand, I made very long calls to my now wife early in our relationship, daily for about two months until we could be together.
